Fall Registration

Registration & Open House for September 2017 classes will take place:
Wednesday August 9 and Thursday August 10, 6:30-8:00pm,
Monday August 14 - Friday August 18, 9:00am-1:00pm.

PROGRAMS

PRE-PROGRAM

(3 & 4 year olds)
Introduces youngsters to the structure of a dance class in a nurturing environment. It focuses on following instructions and the development of gross motor skills by teaching basic spatial patterns and steps. Program offered in tap, jazz, or ballet.

PRIMARY PROGRAM

(5 & 6 year olds)
The continued development of gross motor skills and the advancement into more complex spatial patterns and steps.

JAZZ PROGRAM

(ages 3+)
The development of body isolation, turns, elevations as well as various jazz styles and performance quality through conditioning, stretching, development exercises, progressions and combinations.

TAP PROGRAM

(ages 3+)
The development of rhythm patterns, time steps, breaks, turns, pickups, and wings as well as developing various styles of tap and performance quality.

BALLET PROGRAM

(ages 3+)
The development of basic to advanced technique as the foundation of all dance with emphasis on dramatic expression through barre exercise and stretches for flexibility, strength, control, balance, poise, and grace.

MODERN PROGRAM

(ages 10+)
The study of various styles of contemporary dance, for strength, flexibility, control, balance, dramatic expression, and creativity. Students must have prior ballet training.

HIP HOP

(ages 6+)
Consists of a cardio and conditioning workout integrating funk and street dance with emphasis on rhythm, timing and style.

LYRICAL PROGRAM

(ages 12+)
The development of technique encompassing ballet and modern styles with body dynamics and facial expression. Students must have prior ballet training.

MUSICAL THEATRE

(ages 6+)
Develop the art of performance encompassing drama, dance, singing, and vocal training by studying the music and themes from Broadway, theatre, and film.

ACRO

(ages 6+)
A combination of classic dance technique and acrobatic moves with a focus on overall body strength, conditioning, balance, control and flexibility.
